XXL Picanha Sandwich Recipe: Perfect For A Big Lunch

Ingredients 

  • Steak Picanha - 2 pcs (each 150 gr)
  • Provolone – 100 gr
  • Baguette bread – 1 BIG pc (70 gr small size)

Sauce:

  • Avocado – 1 pc
  • Italian green basil – 100 gr
  • Pine nut – 30 gr
  • Squeezed Lemon – ½
  • Salt – 5 gr
  • Pepper – 2 gr
  • Fresh garlic – 4 gr
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 100 ml

Garnish: Potato pie

  • Potato – 500 gr
  • Sunflower oil – 1L
  • Corn Starch – 50 gr

 

Instructions 

Step 1: Cut 2 pieces of Picanha steak in half.
Step 2: Make a marinade for the meat (salt, pepper, olive oil)
Step 3: Cook a medium steak.
Step 4: Sauce - 1 avocado, ½ cup of basilic,1 teaspoon peanut, squeeze ½ of lemon, ¼ teaspoon of pepper, ½ teaspoon of fresh garlic, 100 ml extra virgin oil, salt and pepper for the test: Blend it all together
Step 5: Butter the French bread and toast it.
Step 6: Cut the provolone cheese into slices.
Step 7: Cut the tomato into slices.
Step 8: Spread the sauce over the bread.
Step 9: Place the meat on top of the bread.
Step 10: Top the steak with provolone cheese.
Step 11: Place a slice of tomato on top of the provolone cheese.
Step 12: Wash 3 potato slices and cut them into very thin slices 
Step 13: Pour 1lt sunflower oil into a pan and heat to 200 degrees.
Step 14: Place the potatoes in the pan and roast until golden brown.
Step 15: Finally, place the potato pie on top of the tomato (steak)
Step 16: Close the bread and cut it
