Meatball Shakshuka Recipe
Shakshuka is a dish of eggs cooked in tomato sauce that goes well with meatballs. Simply by adding the meatballs, it transforms from a nice hearty breakfast to a smoky dinner. Our recipe takes only 30 minutes to prepare and is simple enough for anybody to follow.

Ingredients
- Beef Ground meat 2 cups
- Parsley ¼ cup
- Provolone cheese 5 slice
- Onion 1 pc
- Garlic 1 clove
- Cumin ½ tsp
- Eggs 5
- Sunflower oil 2 tbsp
- Black pepper
- Tomato 4
- Red bell pepper 4
Bread
- Flour ½ cup
- Water ½ cup
- Salt 1 tsp
- Sunflower oil 2 tbsp
Instructions
- Make meatballs from the ground beef
- Cut Provolone cheese in cubes and put inside the meatballs
- Slice the onion and garlic
- Add oil in the pan and heat
- Add garlic and onion in the pan
- Add black pepper, salt and cumin
- Add tomatoes, bell pepper and cook until the mass becomes homogeneous
- Add few slices of Provolone cheese
- Crack the eggs in the pan
- Wait around 5 min until it’s cooked
Bread instructions
- In a bowl add flour, salt and water
- Knead the mass and flatten it in pita form
- In a hot pan add oil and fry the bread
- Dip the bread in Shakshuka and enjoy!
